Player Analysis
Look up one player and see her season line alongside a schedule-adjusted kill% (actual vs. what a league-average hitter would be expected to post against the exact opponents she faced), with a live projection onto any conference's average competition level.
What these mean (kill% for now - more categories may be added the same way, see below):
- Kill% — raw kills / attack attempts.
- Exp. Kill% — what a league-average hitter would be expected to post given this player's exact attack attempts against the exact opponents she actually faced this season.
- EVA (Expected Value Added) — her actual kills minus that expectation: kills above what an average hitter would've produced with the same workload and schedule.
- Kill%+ — the same comparison as an index (100 = exactly as expected, higher is better) - reapplied against a different conference's average defense, this is what projects her stats onto that conference below.
Early-season caveat: with conference play not yet underway, every team's defense number reflects whatever non-conference opponents it happened to draw so far, not a settled read on true conference strength - don't take a specific conference's ranking here as gospel yet.
Not enough attack attempts yet this season for a reliable schedule-adjusted number (see expected_value.MIN_ATTACK_ATTEMPTS).
